Remote sensing SODAR

The technology allows SODAR measurements of wind conditions in a non-intrusive, over a wide range of measuring height (20-200 m) even in adverse weather conditions.

Provides the ability to perform the following tasks:

  • Evaluation of aerodynamic effects in complex sites (flow separation, recirculation, turbulence) through analysis of the experimental data
  • Measurements and processing of turbulence, flow angle, wind speed and wind direction vertical to specific positions critical wind site
  • Correlation with wind data standards and ability to move very quickly and easily instrumentation in various places on the site
  • Reduction of the uncertainties of the calculation models and database anemometer
