Self-consumption analysis

Self-consumption of solar and wind energy is when energy is used directly in the production site at the same time when it is produced. It is sometimes also called the term “direct consumption”. To calculate this, it is generally necessary to compare the current production, storage and consumption values. The analysis of self-consumption is necessary to understand how much renewable energy it is optimal also considering the possibility to store it. Ultimately it is used to calculate the true cost of self-produced and / or self-stored energy.
